Solar Power World Features SMA’s DC Coupled Storage Solution at SPI

Solar Power World stopped by SMA’s booth at SPI and spoke with SMA and Dynapower about t their DC-DC Converter collaboration, which provides integrators with the most flexible, turnkey solution for DC-coupled storage.

The DC-coupled energy storage market enables many different use cases for the SMA solution including clipped loss capturing and time shifting. What’s more, the SMA solution can be installed at any time, allowing system owners to install storage later using the same point of interconnection at the inverter.
