SMA Welcomes the New Vice President of U.S. Operations
This week SMA welcomes the new Vice President of U.S. Operations, Eric Peschke, who joined us in April.
Eric brings extensive expertise and will oversee all operations for North America, from supply chain management and procurement to sales and service oversight. The role is a crucial one as SMA continues to see rapid growth throughout the U.S. and beyond.
“I’m so glad to be part of the SMA team and to join the exciting, dynamic solar industry,” Eric said. “This is a growing organization full of talented professionals, and I know we are going to see great success moving forward.”
Eric is a seasoned expert when it comes to all things operations. He is well-versed in building teams, balancing budgets, developing business, streamlining processes and much more.
Previously Eric served as Vice President of Services and Vice President of Operations at Buckles-Smith Electric, an industrial supplier based in California – where he led annual sales revenue growth of more than 500%. Before that, he also held executive operations roles with process control company Valin Corporation.
“I’ve known Eric for nearly twenty years and am thrilled he has decided to join our team,” said Pat Berry, managing director for SMA America. “He has the skills we need as the industry and our organization continue to expand.”
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s Dyson School of Applied Economics & Management and a certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Professional Education.
