SMA Joins CALSSA to Educate the Capitol Community at the Clean Energy Fair 2018
Yesterday SMA America joined the California Solar and Storage Association (CALSSA) for the 2018 Clean Energy Fair in an effort to inform the capitol community about the value of distributed energy resources.
At this educational event on the grounds of the California State Capitol, SMA connected with hundreds of lawmakers, staff and other visitors. The SMA team provided valuable information on residential, commercial, utility, and off-grid solar energy solutions that give Californians clean, reliable and feasible energy options.
CALSSA invited a select group of members of the solar industry to participate in meetings with lawmakers and their staff to discuss how solar energy systems can help build a better energy future for California. SMA Vice President of Distributed Sales Charles Ellis was among those invited.
“What a great opportunity! Special thank you to the California Solar & Storage Association for asking SMA-America to participate in their lobby day at the capital. I truly enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the future of solar in California with our state legislature”, said Ellis.
CALSSA Energy Storage Policy Advisor Laura Gray was very excited about the outcome of the event stating, “The clean energy fair was a great success showcasing all the products designed to give consumers clean choices to meet their energy needs”.
