Paired with the SPAN Smart Panel, this new offering provides comprehensive home energy management, ensuring both efficiency and resilience during grid outages. Attendees were eager to learn how this system, set for release in 2025, integrates storage and energy use into a single hybrid solution via the Sunny Boy Smart Energy inverter—emphasizing SMA’s commitment to empowering residential energy independence.

Advancing Commercial and Industrial Solutions with SMA’s Inverters

SMA’s showcase extended to the commercial and industrial sectors, featuring the Sunny Tripower CORE1, Sunny Tripower X, and Sunny Tripower Storage X inverters. During the live interview with Nico Johnson for SunCast Media, Ravi Dodballapur, senior director of applications engineering for SMA America, introduced the Sunny Central FLEX. Ravi emphasized the flexibility and longevity of the new inverter, describing it as more than just a device—it’s a comprehensive solution that integrates seamlessly with PV-only, PV and storage, and even Power to Gas applications. This flexibility allows customers to maximize their investments over the long term.

At the booth, SMA hosted the “Managing Energy to Save Yours” event, which showcased cutting-edge energy storage and management technologies.
