company developed, owns, and will operate the solar electric facility. NJMG is now able to purchase 60 percent of its annual electric needs from a clean renewable source!

Working Together

Completion of this solar project was no small feat and several partners worked over the past three years together to ensure its success. KDC Solar signed an engineering, procurement, and construction contract for the installation at the facility with Samsung C&T and J. Fletcher Creamer & Son acted as the project’s general contractor.

“NJMG is pleased and proud to have served as the host and electric off-taker of this solar project. This use of clean energy helps us continue our environmental stewardship as well as reduce costs. KDC Solar is a wonderful partner and I strongly recommend them to those considering similar projects.” – Stephen Borg, president of NJMG

System Details

The NJMG printing facility is home to more than 20,400 ground, roof, and carport mounted solar panels and 10 SMA Sunny Central 500 HE-US inverters, spread across 50 acres of land. The system produces enough energy to power 700 households a year.

NJMG is proud to have the largest PV system at any printing facility in the state of New Jersey.  They are thrilled with the results and are looking forward to having KDC Solar install additional solar on another portion of their facility in the near future.
