RESCo Energy Inc., Ontario’s first solar-focused engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance (EPCM) firm, recently completed installation of the 75kWac system.

Two SMA Sunny Towers, each consisting of six Sunny Boy 5000-US inverters, and an additional nine SMA Sunny Boy 5000-US inverters power this project, which also features 366 Canadian Solar modules and a Polar One ballasted rooftop mounting system.

Catholic Family Services Peel-Dufferin is a multi-service counseling agency that has been providing services to individuals, couples and families in the region of Peel since 1981. Now, thanks to this array, CFSPD can feed safe, clean renewable electricity into the utility grid.

“We have installed SMA inverters at several other projects with excellent results. RESCo’s designers, project managers, electricians and our clients have always been happy,” said Kevin Monsour, VP with RESCo.

SMA is proud to offer solutions that suit the needs of Canadian solar installers. Multiple lines of SMA inverters are assembled in Canada and meet Ontario’s microFIT and FIT domestic content requirements.
