Contractors showcase their 102 kW carport
Long Island’s Eldor Construction is showcasing its love for solar and dedication to renewable energy with a 102 kW carport system at its company headquarters. The carport centerpiece is as attractive with the building’s façade as it practical, offering a reprieve from winter storms and a charging station for the company’s fleet of electric vehicle.
The Eldor team designed the system to fully offset its electrical demands after a close examination of both the headquarters and warehouse’s historical consumption. The system features 312 SunPower 327-watt modules and a total of six Sunny Tripower inverters (two 12000TL-US and four 20000TL-US).
Estimated to produce more than 122,000 kWh annually, the combination of SunPower modules and Sunny Tripower inverters made for a high-efficiency system worthy of being a fully functional solar centerpiece. Eldor’s engineering team also favored the Sunny Tripower for its design flexibility and seamless integration into its existing electrical system.
Over the company’s history with solar and renewable energy systems, they have installed more than 14 MW throughout the surrounding New York metropolitan area, with a continuing focus on resources in clean energy projects. To Eldor’s team, the future of solar is unstoppable.
This is very great &very good because by producing electric power through solar is better than producing by any other pollutants so I really like implementation of solar plant.so thanks for saving nature
