In a recent post we discussed SMA’s newly released integrated AFCI solution that meets NEC 2011 requirements. Our Sunny Boy line is the only code compliant inverter currently on the market with this feature for those AHJ’s requiring DC AFCI on the inverters. There is no extra hardware or wiring required.
It is important for many of you to know which states and jurisdictions have adopted the 2011 Code. Check out this detailed map, which shows NEC adoption by state.
