SMA Increases Sales in First Half of 2015
In the second quarter of 2015, we continued our positive business performance from the first three months. From January to June 2015, the Group’s sales climbed by 26% year on year to €429.3 million (Q1-Q2 2014: €341.2 million) and were thus in line with the Managing Board’s forecast.

SMA Sunny Home Manager Also Set to Manage Home Appliances From BSH Hausgeräte GmbH
Alongside home appliances from Miele and heat pumps from Stiebel Eltron and Vaillant, home appliances from BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH) can also be incorporated into intelligent energy management systems with the SMA Smart Home. The home appliance brand Bosch will be presenting the solution, which uses the Home Connect standard together with energy management via EEBUS, for the first time from September 4 to 9 at the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany.

Visit from the Indian Consul General
The Consul General of India, Raveesh Kumar, visited SMA last week to discuss the future prospects of the Indian photovoltaics market with SMA’s CEO/CFO Pierre-Pascal Urbon. Solar power will make an important contribution to covering India’s growing energy needs. We are thrilled to be a part of this.

Solar Energy for the Sunny State
The “Sunny State” California is certainly living up to its name. A total of 317 central inverters with an output of 700 MW will soon supply the state with clean solar energy. Swinerton Renewable Energy – a San Diego-based engineering, procurement and construction company – will be using the Sunny Central 2200-US for all of its projects.
